The central midfielder is showcasing his talents at the European Under-21 Championship in Poland and he is a real talent. Just like Mousa Dembele, Ceballos is impressive in his ability to hold off tacklers, while remaining composed enough to either retain possession for himself, or lay the ball off to a team-mate. He’s more of a dribbler than a player like Adrien Silva, but his defensive contribution is superb too, winning 3.1 tackles per game, and making 1.9 interceptions. One issue is Real Madrid’s interest in the player, which could scupper Spurs’ chances.
Tottenham seem to have a habit of snapping up young French players at the moment, and it’s a possibility they may turn to Rongier.
