Tottenham Hotspur show off stunning sunrise snap from new stadium building site as 61,559 seat arena on White Hart Lane edges closer to completion

When they move back to White Hart Lane next season and into their enormous new stadium on the site of their former home, Tottenham Hotspur will hope it heralds a new dawn for the club.

For now, Spurs fans will have to do with a remarkable new picture taken from the top of the building site which, come the 2018-19 season, will be their 61,559-seater stadium.

The spectacular image, shared via the club Twitter account on Tuesday morning, shows the sun rising over North London and shining on the half-finished stands.

The curved top tier of seats - reminiscent of those in the ground of neighbours and bitter rivals, Arsenal - are now clearly visible at one end of where the pitch will eventually be.
