Tottenham Hotspur opinion: Six reasons things are going wrong for Spurs right now

Related Topics: Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen

It’s rather obvious the talented triumvirate are Spurs’ top stars but the problem is they’re all guaranteed starts for the club. Even though the former two players have had injuries and knocks this season, they’ve both been on the pitch in 13 of their 14 matches so far this season, while Eriksen has played in all of them, missing just 75 minutes due to substitutions. Kane, with no true backup, is having to do all the goalscoring, with Fernando Llorente proving a poor signing, Alli’s main replacement, Heung-Min Son, isn’t getting the game time some of his performances have warranted, and other than Eriksen there is no other advanced playmaker at the club who has anywhere close to the Dane’s passing range.
