Real Madrid will pursue Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski this summer if they fail to land Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to former president Ramon Calderon.
Kane will remain a long-term target for the LaLiga giants, however, but Los Blancos are prepared to get Lewandowski in as a stopgap.
They will get a closer look at the Poland international when Real travel to the Allianz Arena for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich tonight.
This summer could see a huge overhaul at Real this summer, with the club looking to bring in a prolific striker that will help them compete with Barcelona, who are running away with the Spanish title this campaign.
