Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen is wanted back at former club Ajax one day by his biggest fan - his mother.
The Belgian international joined Tottenham in July 2012 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the Premier League's best defenders.
However his mum, Ria Mattheeuws, while wanting her boy to succeed further in England, admits she would like to see him play for the Dutch giants again.
She told news website HLN: 'I hope that he can remain healthy and injury-free, so that he can go further on this level, and if he can not, maybe at a lower level.
