Tottenham recovered from their shock home defeat to Wolves with a resounding 3-0 win at Cardiff.
Goals from Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen inside the first 27 minutes sealed the points in a match where Spurs were largely untroubled.
They climb above Manchester City into second place but having played a game more, while Cardiff miss the chance to rise to 14th.
Kane had previously scored against all but one of the Premier League sides he has played against, with his only blank being drawn against Cardiff. However, he ticked them off his list this time with a scruffy goal after three minutes, blocking Sean Morrison's clearance and the ball trickled past Neil Etheridge.
