Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League as group winners with a 3-1 win over a lacklustre Real Madrid at Wembley.
Tottenham started the game playing with confidence, while Real Madrid were wasteful with the ball as the two sides looked to bounce back from weekend defeats away to Manchester United and Girona respectively.
But Spurs were dealt a blow midway through the first half when when they lost Toby Alderweireld to what looked to be a hamstring injury, Mousa Sissoko being introduced in his place.
