Tottenham held talks with Sporting Lisbon on Monday regarding a deal for Pedro Porro. A deal is still far from resolution, but more talks are planned later this week.
The 23-year-old wing-back has made 94 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 19 assists.
However, Porro has a £40million buy-out clause and so far Sporting have been resistant to sell him unless that fee is put forward.
