Tottenham have no plans to appoint former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann as their new manager despite having 'great respect' for the 35-year-old, with Arne Slot, Roberto De Zerbi and Luis Enrique possible alternatives

Tottenham insist they do not intend on pursuing their interest in former Bayern Munich boss Julian Naglesmann.

As the club finalise their plans to appoint a new sporting director - with Tiago Pinto and Markus Krosche among the names being considered - Spurs sources claimed the club would not be looking to formalise their initial interest in Naglesmann.

It is claimed that Tottenham have ‘great respect’ for the German coach but they currently have no plans to move forward with their interest.

Mail Sport revealed on Thursday that Spurs would likely have a clear run at the 35-year-old this summer, with Naglesmann likely to be an outsider for the Real Madrid post in the event of Carlo Ancelotti leaving.
