Tottenham full-back DeAndre Yedlin is wanted by Newcastle United.
Manager Rafa Benitez wants cover at right-back following an injury to Jesus Gamez while Daryl Janmaat is looking to leave with West Ham and Napoli among the clubs interested.
Yedlin also has an offer from Aston Villa while Hull City and Derby County are also keen.
The USA international was on loan at Sunderland last season and is available for around £4million.
