Tottenham have won their first Premier League game of 2020 after they saw off a resilient Norwich City side on Wednesday evening.
The deadlock was broken seven minutes before the break when Serge Aurier whipped in a low cross to Dele Alli, who timed his run perfectly before getting a toe to the ball to turn it in past Tim Krul in goal.
However, Norwich were given a route back into the tie when they were awarded a penalty after Max Aarons was hacked down in the box by Ryan Sessegnon.
