Harry Kane scored his 209th goal to overtake Wayne Rooney as the Premier League's second highest goalscorer, as Tottenham defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Kane proved the man to break the deadlock after 46 minutes, connecting on the end of a lofted ball from Pedro Porro to head the ball past Sam Johnstone into the back of the net.
There was a nervy moment for Tottenham during the match as Cheick Doucoure clattered into the legs of Kane who required some medical attention on the field.
