Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has praised Harry Kane amid speculation the Spanish giants may swoop for the free-scoring Tottenham striker.

Spanish scrutiny on the 24-year-old striker has intensified with Real playing Tottenham in the Champions League, leading to speculation the European champions could be readying a big-money move next summer.

German star Kroos was named among five Real players - Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Marcelo and Sergio Ramos - in the FIFA FIFPro XI for 2017 at The Best awards ceremony in London on Monday evening.
