Tottenham should give Toby Alderweireld an improved contract or allow him to leave the club, according to the defender's advisor.
Alderweireld, 28, is one of the only members of Spurs' first-team not to be given a contract extension in the past 18 months and in July he said there was no update on talks to extend his current deal, which expires in 2019.
That contract reportedly contains a clause stating that Alderweireld can leave for a fee of £25 million if Spurs trigger a year-long extension in 2019.
Alderweireld's advisor, Stijn Francis, says Tottenham must offer the Belgium centre-back the deal he deserves or a transfer to another club.
