'This country should appreciate his special talent': Ryan Mason believes it could be 10 YEARS before Harry Kane gets the credit he deserves... as the England captain prepares to rescue Tottenham's sorry season

Ryan Mason believes it could take another 10 years before Tottenham forward Harry Kane is truly appreciated.

While Spurs have endured a tumultuous campaign and currently have no permanent manager or managing director of football, it has been another impressive season for their talisman.

Kane became the club's all-time leading goal-scorer in February, broke the England scoring record a month later and starred in Thursday's 2-2 draw at home to Manchester United.

The Tottenham vice-captain will look to add to his 24 Premier League strikes in Sunday's clash with Liverpool at Anfield, but continues to be mocked over his lack of silverware.
