Sam Allardyce has praised the decision to allow Tottenham striker Harry Kane to sit out of England’s upcoming friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
The Spurs star is one of six players to pull out of the squad for the Wembley double-header, with Dele Alli, Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling among those also absent through injury.
Kane withdrew on Monday after he picked up a knock during Spurs' win over Crystal Palace, but questions were asked about the severity of his injury when Mauricio Pochettino revealed the frontman will be fit for next weekend's north London derby against Arsenal.
