THE NOTEBOOK: Harry Kane plays the villain on Merseyside, consistency is key for Sean Dyche and Tottenham fans turn on Daniel Levy as Michael Keane's late stunner dents their top-four hopes

Michael Keane was the unlikely hero for Everton after rifling home a sensational long-range strike to rescue a 1-1 draw against Tottenham.

On a night which saw both sides reduced to 10 men, Keane popped up with the all-important equaliser right at the death after Harry Kane had fired Spurs in front from the penalty spot.

Toffees midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure had seen red for shoving Kane in the face prior to his opener, but Lucas Moura was also given his marching orders for the visitors late on following a late challenge on Keane.
