Slaven Bilic thought his West Ham team performed well in their 3-2 defeat to Tottenham and insists he is only disappointed with the period immediately after Spurs’ first goal.

The visitors to the London Stadium appeared to be in cruise control as a Harry kane double saw them lead 2-0 at the break before Christian Eriksen added a third in the second half.

However, the Hammers rallied late on and pulled two goals back – aided in part by the sending off of Serge Aurier – but were unable to find a crucial equaliser as time ran out.
