Spurs defender Danny Rose admits their Premier League near miss left them in tears

Danny Rose has revealed there were Tottenham players ‘crying in the changing room’ at Stamford Bridge after the game against Chelsea that killed their title chances last season.

That 2-2 draw in May confirmed Leicester City as Premier League champions as Chelsea came from two goals down to deny their London rivals the win they needed to stay in the race.

Rose admits Tottenham are still trying to get over the heartache of last season as they head into another must-win game against Monaco in the Champions League.
