Serge Aurier regrets after aiming homophobic slurs at Laurent Blanc and Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Serge Aurier has opened up on his hugely costly actions during a live Periscope chat back in 2016 while playing for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG decided to suspend the Ivorian for six weeks after he took part in a social media video, in which he directed homophobic insults towards then manager Laurent Blanc and star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Aurier also insulted other members of the PSG squad at the time, and he has since publicly spoken out on the matter, claiming he massively regrets his actions because his family were on the wrong end of the backlash.
