Ryan Mason to appear at half-time vs Newcastle

The midfielder who graduated through our Academy to captain the team and play for England will be interviewed pitchside at Wembley.

It will be the first time Ryan has been interviewed in front of his fellow Spurs fans since having to call time on his playing career in February, some 13 months after suffering a fractured skull while playing for Hull City at Chelsea.

‘Mase’ made his first team debut aged just 17 in 2008 and went on to play 70 times for us in all competitions before departing for Hull in August, 2016.

He played a key role in Mauricio Pochettino’s first season in 2014-15 - featuring 37 times in all competitions, 31 in the Premier League - and earned his only England cap against Italy in March, 2015.
