It was the game former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg revealed 'was by far the hardest match' he ever had to officiate.

The Battle of the Bridge, as it became known in the days afterwards, saw Chelsea put an end to the title hopes of their fierce rivals Tottenham - and hand Leicester the most unlikely of crowns in the process.

But rather than being remembered as the game which officially sealed the trophy for Claudio Ranieri and his men, the clash stands out for being the most ill-tempered, shameful contest in recent memory.
