Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker were in the 11 for the Group F encounter at Sportni Park in Ljubliana.

Dele had one of only three efforts on goal for the Three Lions, who had Joe Hart to thank in goal for the point, the Torino goalkeeper forced into three fine saves on the night. Dele eventually made way for Wayne Rooney on 73 minutes with Eric, Kyle and Danny all completing the 90 minutes.

England remain top of the group with group winners only guaranteed a place at Russia 2018.

Josh Onomah marked his first start for England Under-21s with his first goal at that level as the Young Lions beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 5-0 at Walsall FC.
