Pundits disagree over a foul in the build-up to Calum Wilson's opener against Tottenham

Pundits could not agree on Newcastle's first goal against Tottenham on Sunday night, as Jamie Redknapp and Les Ferdinand clashed over a coming together between Hugo Lloris and Callum Wilson in the build-up.

The Newcastle striker raced forward in the 31st minute and was met by Lloris, leading to the pair clashing into one another.

Lloris was left badly out of position, allowing Wilson to neatly chip the ball into the net from distance. The goal was checked by VAR, but was not disallowed.

It was nothing on Gary Neville's clash with Roy Keane on Saturday night, but Redknapp and Ferdinand did differ in their thoughts on the strike.
