Police hunt suspect after Tottenham fan suffered broken skull and eye socket at hands of fellow Spurs supporters who mistakenly thought he followed Chelsea

Police are hunting football thugs after a Tottenham fan suffered a broken skull and eye socket when he was mistakenly assaulted for 'supporting Chelsea'.

Michael Voller, 23, was savagely attacked outside the Moore Spice Indian restaurant, moments after he left Wembley Stadium in north London, on April 22.

He had been watching Spurs play Chelsea in the FA Cup semi final when he was singled out and brutally punched in the face.

Police believe that he was beaten because fellow fans thought he supported their fierce rivals.
