Peter Crouch urges Harry Kane to resist Real Madrid temptation and cement Tottenham legacy as he tells star striker 'the grass isn't always greener'

Peter Crouch has warned Harry Kane that leaving north London in search of trophies may not be the sensible move.

Tottenham's main man has regularly been linked with Real Madrid, among other clubs, in the past, a natural consequence of his outstanding record for both club and country over recent seasons.

However, the former Spurs striker believes that Kane would be wise to stay where he is and cement his legacy, suggesting that success abroad may not bring the same satisfaction.

Harry Kane has yet to win a trophy at Tottenham, losing in the 2019 Champions League final
But Peter Crouch has urged the 27-year-old to stay in north London and fire Spurs to success

'I think if you win something at Tottenham, it is going to mean 10 times more than going to Real Madrid and winning something,' Crouch told the Daily Star.
