Two men accused of kidnapping and murdering a Turkish DJ have appeared in court today.
Kyrie Mitchell-Peart, 31, and Isay Stoyanov, 43, allegedly ambushed Koray Alpergin, 43, and his girlfriend Gozde Dalbudak, 34, outside his north London home and bundled them into a van.
The pair were then held at the Stadium Lounge restaurant near Tottenham Hotspur's stadium before Mr Alpergin was killed on October 14, 2022.
A post-mortem found evidence that he had been beaten with a baseball bat, scalded with boiling water and had the soles of his feet stabbed, while there was also bruising to his genitals.
