Harry Kane hit an 82nd-minute equaliser to save Tottenham from an FA Cup nightmare at League Two Newport County in the fourth round on Saturday.

Padraig Amond headed home a deserved opener to give the Welsh club the lead before half time.

But Kane, who started the match in a strong XI alongside Jan Vertonghen and Fernando Llorente, tapped in following a neat flick from substitute Son Heung-min to keep eight-time champions Spurs in the hat.
