Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier has returned from a break in New York in a bid to seal his move to Bayern Munich.
Mail Sport understands the England star is keen to join up with his former Tottenham team-mates Harry Kane and Eric Dier in Bavaria and has spoken to the Bundesliga giants.
However, Newcastle have rejected an initial approach from Bayern and the word from inside St James’ Park is that he is not for sale, unless the money on the table is too good to turn down.
