MK Dons were unaware that their former manager Karl Robinson had become a shareholder in a company run by Dele Alli’s agent.
Robinson, who was boss from 2010 until he was sacked last October, was revealed as having a stake in agent Rob Segal’s company Impact Sports Management (ISM), which went into administration with tax arrears of more than £2.6million.
Segal, ISM’s principal shareholder, stands to make millions for the company if Alli, who was sold by MK Dons to Tottenham for an initial fee of £5m in February 2015, joins one of Europe’s richest clubs.

Robinson, 36, gave Alli his debut at 16 in 2012 and since joining Spurs he has become one of the Premier League’s most exciting midfielders.
