Fine rain swirled across The Emirates on Saturday but it felt to some as though a mist was clearing.
A beautiful view that had been hidden for some time, and which many feared they would never glimpse again, appeared suddenly once more in so much of its old glory that it was a joy to behold.
It was like travelling back to a time when Arsenal and optimism were not strangers, a time before WengerOut and Arsenal fans hiring planes to trail banners in the sky demanding the manager’s exit. These were the days before division and rancour ruled the Emirates.
