Mauricio Pochettino arrives for his first training session at PSG as new boss bids to hit the ground running after only being handed an 18-month deal following his appointment

Mauricio Pochettino looked ready to hit the ground running at Paris Saint-Germain as he arrived for training on Sunday morning after finally replacing Thomas Tuchel in charge of the French giants.

The Argentine wore a mask as he was accompanied by his former assistant at Tottenham, Jesus Perez, as he reported for work at the French club's training ground.

He arrived ahead of Sunday's training session, with preparations to begin in earnest ahead of his first game away at St Etienne on Wednesday night.

The 48-year-old is back in management just over a year after his sacking at Spurs, who he had led to the Champions League final the season before but he has only been handed an 18-month contract on a deal that runs until June 2022.
