Manchester City will raise £70m by selling off their fringe players this summer... with Pep Guardiola set to use the money to fund moves for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish

Manchester City are expected to raise more than £70million through the sale of fringe players this summer.

A number of youngsters, most of whom have never played a game for the club, are attracting interest from across Europe and their departures will swell Pep Guardiola’s transfer pot.

Guardiola wants a frontline striker, with Tottenham’s Harry Kane now the manager’s preferred target. England team-mate Jack Grealish is also on City’s wishlist.
