Lucas Moura 'is interested in returning to boyhood club Sau Paulo', but Brazilian side accept it will be difficult to persuade Tottenham to sell winger in January transfer window

Lucas Moura is 'in talks over a move back to his boyhood club Sao Paulo', having fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham.

The Brazilian has started just twice this term but has also been ruled out for two months of the campaign with a calf injury.

According to Brazilian publication LANCE, Moura is interested in returning to Sao Paulo, but it remains to be seen if a deal will be struck this January.

Spurs are pursuing a top four finish, so it is unlikely that they would allow the 30-year-old to leave without bringing in a replacement or having one lined up.
