Ledley tackles topic of knife crime at local tournament

The annual tournament, supported by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and the People’s Postcode Lottery, is in its sixth year and seeks to engage youngsters who are at risk of becoming involved in violent crime, with the hope of using football to set them on the right path.

Our former captain watched on as representative teams from Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham and Millwall competed against each other, before he presented prizes and addressed the group about the benefits of regularly participating in sport.

Ledley said: “Playing football from a young age not only kept me out of trouble and gave me a focus, but it also taught me valuable life lessons, so it’s great to be able to share that with the group today.
