LAFC 'changed my heart' - Son leaves Spurs for MLS

Son Heung-min has joined Los Angeles FC on a two-year contract with the club paying a Major League Soccer record fee to sign him from Tottenham Hotspur.

BBC Sport understands the fee to be more than £20m.

Son's contract includes an option for an additional two years.

The forward revealed in a news conference on Saturday that he would leave Tottenham after 10 years at the club.

The 33-year-old was present at LAFC's 2-1 Leagues Cup win over Mexican side Tigres UANL on Tuesday.

The paperwork and medical were completed this week, allowing Son to complete the transfer.
