Knife-wielding thieves who raided Dele Alli's £2million house 'threatened to butcher girlfriend Ruby Mae's pet poodle' as they stole three watches worth £350,000

Robbers who broke into Dele Alli's £2million Hertfordshire mansion threatened to kill his girlfriend Ruby Mae's dog during the terrifying raid early on Wednesday morning.

Ruby Mae was reportedly playing pool with the Tottenham and England star and his brother Harry Hickford, when he was punched in the face by knife-wielding thugs who forced their way in to the home.

The dog, named Uno after Dele's favourite card game, was left unharmed but £350,000 worth of jewellery and watches were stolen according to police, who continue to investigate.

Dele Alli has returned to training with his football club Tottenham Hotspur since the incident

A source told the Daily Star: 'They were pretty nasty and after smashing their way in and punching Dele, they threatened everyone with physical harm unless they complied with their demands.
