Mousa Dembele has taken it upon himself to mentor Josh Onomah, who idolised the Belgian when growing up.
Onomah is one youngster Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is expected to rely on more often next season after making his Premier League debut 18 months ago.
And the 20-year-old midfielder, who has been deployed wide but harbours long-term ambitions of a central role, revealed Dembele is constantly in his ear offering pointers.
'Since I've been training with the first team from 14 or 15, he's always been a role model,' Onomah said at a Special Olympics event organised by Spurs in Orlando.
