Jamie O'Hara joins ambitious non-League side Billericay Town... and it's all thanks to TOWIE star Mark Wright

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara has joined ambitious non-League outfit Billericay Town.

O'Hara has been without a club since leaving Gillingham at the start of the season due to injury, having also previously played for Fulham, Wolves and Blackpool, but has now joined the Ryman Premier League outfit.

Significant investment has been made at the seventh-tier club since millionaire Glenn Tamplin's investment, with former Charlton and Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky already on board with the club, which is targeting the Football League.

Midfielder O'Hara, who recently appeared on Big Brother, agreed to play for the club following a conversation with reality TV star Mark Wright, who is a close friend of both he and Tamplin.
