Danny Rose has revealed he would like to sign for Newcastle on a permanent basis as he fears his days at Spurs are numbered.

The Tottenham left-back has 12 months left on his contract at Spurs but is thought to be surplus to requirements in north London.

Rose has his sights set on returning to international football and worries that a lack of pitch time under Jose Mourinho will hamper his chances.
