Huge blow for Tottenham with Moussa Sissoko ruled out for THREE MONTHS after undergoing surgery on knee ligament injury

Moussa Sissoko has been ruled out until April after undergoing surgery on knee ligament damage.

The midfielder sustained the injury in Tottenham's clash with Southampton last Wednesday.

Sissoko played the full 90 minutes of that game but the extent of the problem became apparent after scans on his right knee.

A club statement read: 'Following a clinical assessment and scans, Moussa Sissoko has undergone surgery to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee.
