Gareth Bale's agent has shut down rumours that his client might make a shock return from retirement and sign for Wrexham.
Talk has been rife in recent weeks over the potentially sensational transfer that would see the five-time Champions League winner join the Welsh minnows in League Two.
Wrexham fans had been hopeful that the move may materialise after Bale exchanged pleasantries with club co-owner Rob McElhenney on social media last month.
The two discussed playing a potential round of golf together, before the American suggested that he would try and persuade Bale to sign.
