Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has said the club are "obliged" to sign superstar players and believed they would like to bring in the "outstanding" Harry Kane.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Kane helped the London side to draw 1-1 at the Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Before the game, there was speculation that Madrid were considering a move for the 24-year-old.
And speaking to Reuters, Calderon -- in charge at Madrid between 2006 and 2009 -- said that the England captain had the right type of profile for the club.
