Graeme Souness says Harry Kane is England’s only hope of enjoying a successful 2018 World Cup.

The legendary former Liverpool, Rangers and Scotland star claims the current Three Lions squad is the most ‘modest’ he has seen in his 50 years in the game.

And he claims it will require Tottenham's talisman Kane to produce goalscoring heroics like Paolo Rossi at the 1982 World Cup or Salvatore Schillaci at Italia 1990 for England to stand any chance of ending a 52-year wait for major tournament success in Russia next summer.
