Gary Neville backs Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to replace Jose Mourinho as Manchester United manager

Gary Neville has backed Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino to succeed Jose Mourinho as Manchester United boss.

The United fan and former defender is a big fan of Pochettino and says it's inevitable bigger clubs with larger budgets will eventually tempt him away from White Hart Lane.

Under the Argentine, the culture and mentality at White Hart Lane has changed and it is a transformation that has impressed Sky Sports analyst Neville, who claims he has championed Pochettino for a number of years.

"When Jose Mourinho's time at Manchester United has finished, whether that is one year, two year or three years, and I hope he wins multiple league titles because I think he is a fantastic manager, this is the guy that I would want to manage the club I support," he told Monday Night Football.
