Gareth Bale recalled to Wales squad after missing October games through injury as captain forms part of 29-man party chosen by manager Ryan Giggs before he stepped down for next three matches after his arrest over allegations of assaulting his girlfriend

Gareth Bale has returned to a Wales squad selected by absent manager Ryan Giggs.

Skipper Bale missed Wales' October games against England, the Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria with a knee injury which delayed his Tottenham debut following his season-long loan move from Real Madrid.

But Bale is back in a 29-man squad which was selected by Giggs before his arrest on suspicion of assaulting a woman on Sunday night.

Giggs has denied all the allegations against him, and has been released on bail for now

The 46-year-old has denied the allegations that he attacked partner Kate Greville, and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
