Dele Alli may have firmly established himself as one of the Premier League's most dynamic players but has not done enough to convince the numbers men at EA SPORTS he is a better player than Ilkay Gundogan.
The first 20 names of the FIFA 18 player rankings have been revealed and the Tottenham star has see his rating leap from 80 to 84 since last year's initial figures were unveiled.
Remarkably Alli's 22 goals and 13 assists in 50 games do not see him rated higher than Gundogan, who managed just 10 games last season before being ruled out with a cruciate knee ligament injury he is yet to return from.
