Former England striker Jermain Defoe claims he is not in a relationship with Instagram model Alisha LeMay, despite having been seen leaving her house just weeks after the collapse of his marriage.
Speaking to Mail Online outside the Love Island wannabe's home, Defoe - wearing a jacket with the Tottenham cockerel motif - said he was surprised that news of him staying there was known.
‘How is that possible? If Jay-Z was in Chigwell…how would you know?' he asked.
The ex-footballer's denial comes after insiders close to Defoe, 40, and LeMay, 31, told MailOnline that they had secretly been seeing each other for several weeks.
