While England's ponderous performance against Lithuania on Sunday evening left a lot to be desired, there was at least one positive in that Harry Winks put in an impressive shift on his senior international debut.
The 21-year-old Tottenham midfielder was called into the Three Lions squad as a late replacement for the injured Fabian Delph and proceeded to play the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 victory in rain-lashed Vilnius.

Quite rightly, praise poured in for Winks after the match, most notably from Dele Alli, teammate with club and country, who shared a lovely throwback photo of the pair together back in their England youth days.
