Eddie Hearn has admitted the success of Matchroom Boxing had led him having concerns for his own health, as the promoter attempted to manage a demanding work schedule.
Hearn, who stars on the cover of Men's Health UK and in new Men's Health app, told the magazine his packed schedule in 2021 underlined the importance of health and fitness.
He promoted or co-promoted 44 events during 2021, with shows held across 10 different countries amid the challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 44-year-old told Men's Health UK his lifestyle at the time had the 'classic signs of a short lifespan', leading to him making changes.
